In recent weeks, the U.S. Fire Administration and the Department of Homeland Security distributed multiple communications detailing the importance of protecting Fire Department Connections, especially during times of civil disturbances.

It emphasizes the importance of being vigilant and aware about the need to inspect FDCs more frequently. Their recommendations are critical intel that will benefit fire sprinkler contractors in their interactions with local businesses. It's critical that you're aware of the issues related to vandalized FDCs that were identified during recent incidents - and potential outcomes.

Investing only thirty minutes on either October 14 or October 15, will provide you with new knowledge that will be extremely valuable in understanding how locking FDC caps keep systems ready to flow when needed, and how your company can take advantage of this new proactive safety initiative.
