A Strategic Approach to Fire Sprinkler Systems

We see them every day and in a variety of occupancies but fire sprinkler systems, along with their components, can sometimes become complicated for even the most seasoned inspector.  This four-hour course will overview fire sprinkler basics and present unique issues that might not always be considered.  We will use selected sections of NFPA 13 for time-of-construction guidance and NFPA 25 to outline annual inspection, testing and maintenance requirements.  Classroom and practical (hands-on) activities will be used to enhance course topics and provide a foundation for compliance and confidence when conducting inspections.  Participants at any level will be able to take away information that can benefit their practice as fire inspectors.  Students holding certain certifications may also be eligible for CEUs.

Lunch will be provided.  Please RSVP for a lunch count.
