Please join us for a training on Battery Energy Storage Systems (B.E.S.S.) on Thursday, August 10^th from 1:00-4:00 at Zionsville Town Hall located at 1100 W. Oak Street, Zionsville, IN  46077. 

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Eric Jung who will provide insight from a utility provider perspective.  Eric is the President and CEO of Northeastern REMC.  “The fire services should not be seeing a BESS for the first time when 911 is called.”  The last legislative session, the General Assembly passed HEA 1173 which provides for some minimum safety provisions and permitting requirements. 

It also includes provisions for firefighter training and identifies NFPA 855 as the standard to follow until a code can be adopted by the Fire Prevention & Building Safety Commission.  Please join us for this training.
